When a user reads a news article, other relevant articles from the same topic, category, or tags are displayed inside the article content.
This encourages users to continue reading more content on your website.

๐ ๏ธ How to Enable Related Posts Feature? (Step-by-Step Guide)
Follow these steps inside your NewsPortal CMS:
๐ธ Step 1: Go to Settings
Navigate to System → Settings

Select News Portal Settings → Related Posts

๐ธ Step 2: Enable the Feature
โ Check the Enable box
๐ธ Step 3: Include Posts From
You will see two options:
1๏ธโฃ Date – show posts after a specific date
2๏ธโฃ Days – show recent posts from past X days
For demonstration, we selected Date and chose 2nd January 2017.

๐ธ Step 4: Display Count Options
Count → Number of related posts to show
๐ We selected 3
After Paragraph Count → Display after how many paragraphs
๐ We selected 2
๐ธ Step 5: Set Label Text
Default label → Read More
We renamed it to Related Posts for clearer intent.
๐ธ Optional: Enable Thumbnails
If you turn this ON, article thumbnail images will also display.
This makes the design more appealing and clickable.
๐ธ Step 6: Matching Condition
Choose how posts should be matched:
Category
Tag
โ You can enable both for best relevance.
๐ Preview Output
After saving settings:
โ Related Posts appear after 2 paragraphs
โ Thumbnails appear (if enabled)
โ Articles shown are based on category/tag match
